My name's Eja - I'm a student studying Computer Science at Arizona State University. I've been coding and building things for nearly four years now, and have been working professionally as a software developer since 2022.

I started off as a freelancer when I was in high school, making web and mobile solutions for local businesses, startups, and basically anyone who needed an app. Throughout the two years I was active as a freelancer, I got the chance to work with founders, business owners, and other freelancers with various different specialties. I learned a ton not only about fullstack development and digital design, but also about entrepreneurship, time management, and personal branding.

Last summer, I decided to shift gears and start doing internships and building my own projects. I found my first internship incredibly enjoyable and more technically focused than a lot of my freelance projects, and I decided that I wanted to do more. Thanks to my freelance experience, I was used to juggling work and school, and I have since done 4 internships back-to-back, most recently at Google.

Believe it or not, I do have a life as well :) 

Outside of work, some of my hobbies include digital art, photography, and paintball. And Netflix. And Doomscrolling.

Coming from Arizona, I also love exploring nature - my weekends are often spent hiking, rock climbing, or kayaking.
